[24/03/2012] #dolphin-emu: fwiw, I was actually going to revert my texel->pixel mapping commits because the problem needs a really good understanding of how D3D9 rasterizes stuff to solve correctly... Only reason I haven't done it yet was because rodolfo wanted to look at it (
[24/03/2012] #dolphin-emu: btw, I love how it's 6 in the morning, I'm reading some AMD doc new features in dx10, I'm stumbling upon slide37 which talks about NONE mip filtering and I have to think about the eyes of the mario characters in the mario kart player selection menu o
[22/03/2012] #dolphin-emu: [22:32] <delroth> too bad nobody tried to debug this issue for 3 months :( | in fact, I think I once hit the bug with one of my clearscreen commits >_> the issue was "fixed" later though by doing some calculations differently
[21/09/2011] #dolphin-emu: I use Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit. I have a E8400 Core2Duo, and usually get 80-90% in Mario Kart Wii. I recently tried Windows 7 to see how much faster d3d9 was. I was disappointed that I didn't get a noticeable difference in speed
[30/08/2011] #dolphin-emu: I think we don't do anything in that case.. not sure though, I just know we throw an interrupt but don't react on it (either that, or I didn't look at the right place :P)
[01/04/2011] #dolphin-emu: well the thing is, you're disabling all kinds of filtering, whereas (i think) we only need to disable linear filtering when copying the internal efb buffer to the screen
[31/03/2012] #dolphin-emu: delroth: i think vliw based architectures make zcomploc behave more unstable. in fact, driver optimizations for vliw stuff makes the whole pipeline more unpredictable.
[30/08/2011] #dolphin-emu: that would drop support for sm 2.0 altogether, I was planning on using some "use2.0althoughIAcknowledgeThatItsNotANiceThingAndWillBreakStuffPossibly" setting
Inner Thoughts
[27/02/2011] #dolphin-emu: NaturalVi: a) working on SSAA, having to change gui stuff => losing motivation since GUI programming with wx sucks b) reorganizing the efb scale dialog, having to change gui stuff => same c) real efb to ram => noticing how it might now give any advan
[06/09/2011] #dolphin-emu: shuffle2: @ issue 4113 "yeah, at this point I have no idea if it will actually help RS2." : That's the problem.. I'd have already tried implementing that stuff if I actually knew it fixes rs2... but I don't feel like wasting my time if it has no bene
[19/03/2011] #dolphin-emu: (14:24:54) BhaaL: just go ahead and fix it if you don't like it :) | with respect, I'm hearing that sentence WAY to often recently, just because I'm complaining about all the crappy code some people are writing :/
[27/03/2012] #dolphin-emu: [SS]: yeah, speaking about fxaa support I guess anyone who's going to do that will make me sick enough of the code to immediately revert it once it's committed to master :p
[07/03/2012] #dolphin-emu: [SS]: "Stating that you've downloaded an ISO will get you banned immediately, no matter if you own the game or not." <-- I added that to the global forum rules
[05/04/2012] #dolphin-emu: delroth: fixing the "bug" (if you can even call it that, it's bscly just an implementation detail) properly involves some VERY huge work on all three backends
[01/04/2011] #dolphin-emu: the current impl is ugly and redundant, but what you're doing is overengineering other, unrelated, areas of the code to avoid clean config dialog coding...
[07/01/2012] #dolphin-emu: would be kinda pathetic to demand 30$ for work which barely took me 10 minutes when others spend hours of their time actually fixing more important stuff
